Atticus Wyric is a minor character in the Galatune series. Atticus was separated from his family for unknown reasons. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance are shrouded in secrecy and mystery. Atticus found himself in the jungles of Calando, and was shortly after discovered by Notre Aper. Knowing hat the young boy wouldn't survive long in the jungle wilderness Notre Aper took Atticus in and raised him as his own son. Notre Aper had a special connection with the beasts and wildlife of the jungle, and taught Atticus how to communicate and coexist with them. Atticus quickly learned the ways of the wild and even learned how to defend himself by merely mimicking the techniques and sounds of the jungles fiercest predators. Notre Aper watched Atticus grow and progress throughout the years, until a mysterious illness claimed his life. In his final moments, Notre Aper passed his mantle as "King of Beasts", to Atticus, and charged him with protecting the wilds; giving Atticus his enchanted spear, which allows Atticus to both communicate and command any beast at will.
